When I downloaded this book I was expecting a graphic novel, a very dark one based on this title, cover and synopsis. I just got the first one wrong. It's dark, thrilling and very very twisted... and I absolutely loved it, even if in some parts I had to take a little break.

This is a collection of 14 very dark tales that are mainly focused on female characters. Not only are there new stories but darker twists to some that are quite familiar. In these "fairy-tales" you will seek revenge, incest, violence and other dark themes. Definitely not the Disney tales for children.
The world was all these events take place is the same, which in the end, brings together piece by piece a whole new dark reality. The descriptions and the style of writing are amazing and it really got me into the stories no matter how macabre and violent they got.

I recommend this book to a mature audience!
