My Rating: 4 Stars

Sweet, nostalgic story that reminded me of the obstacles everyone faces as a child and the problems and responsibilities that come with growing up. I knew from the beginning that this was a play and even so, after all the bad feedback, I really enjoyed this book. I see J.K. Rowling's writing style all over it and a few changes that go perfectly with the story and the characters.

The dialogues and the conversations between the characters throughout the story are meaningful, sweet and heartfelt. They really brought out the nostalgia in me, wishing that I was 12 again and reading about the adventures and misadventures of Harry, Hermione and Ron for the first time.

One of the things I particularly enjoyed about this story is the unexpected friendship between Scorpius and Albus. It's heart-warming to read of their moments and jokes together.

This isn't the 8th book everyone was expecting, but if you are a Potterhead, you will, in the end, get your hands on this book. It was a charming, sweet adventure that deserves to be read! Loved it!
